  1. Good stuff, Andy. You've got the hardest part out of the way. All downhill from here...

  2. Welcome to my blog Andy and thanks for your comments. I love it when I find or another blogger finds me, as you did, and you're still a relatively new blogger. It's so much easier to get caught up that way. You have quite a story already being on your second motorhome and not hitting the road yet. That was an amazing project you had for yourself with Gypsy. Now what will you do with your extra time? I enjoyed your podcasts.

  4. Thanks Jeana - I think I'll spend my spare time getting some more certifications to help me get jobs on the road. Things like swimming pool maintenance, & campground manager software, etc. Things I see employers asking for in the Work Camper sites. Plus, Dora does need some work so I'll be able to stay busy getting her outfitted & ready for long haul travel. I'm having fun with the blog & podcasts so I'll keep it up as long as it is fun.

  7. Andy,

Dora is a great name! That reminds me, the wife has named ours, now prepare yourself, this is very original. Drumroll please.... "Endeavor"... considering it's also the model she felt it fit what we are going through perfectly so perhaps I should mention it on the blog.

Hopefully we see you on the road someday! Nice rig. :)

  8. Thanks Erik,
Endeavor...yep, not the most original, but it does work. After all, it is just a name.
Looking forward to reading about your future adventures as well as possibly running into you sometime. I'm hoping to take a couple short "shakedown" trips this summer.

    Happy trails
    Andy

  9. Andy,

Make sure you have an ample supply of tools and a 100+ PSI tire gauge! Judging by Gypsy you are used to working on these things.

Our first shakedown trip was a shakedown of us!

    Good luck,
    Erik
